Yay or nay?

By admin on April 5th, 2006 3 comments

Yaynay3bLast weeks yay or nay slot provoked an interesting response. Was the knee length dress really a brides dress or for the bridesmaid? I can confirm it is the former, though Berketex does have some very similar bridesmaid designs.

Today’s pick has somewhat of a dual personality. From the front it is a simple column with long lace sleeves and a broad lace band across the waist. From the rear, the dress starts off with an elegant cut-out back and the train is revealed. But is it a fabulous add-on to wow the guests as you sweep down the aisle or is it a chintzy doily?

There’s a front picture picture after the turn and don’t forget to let me know what you think!

The train is definitely not necessary and does look a bit out of place

Yay – fanned out like that the train does look a bit like my gramma’s favorite table cloth… but imagine it coming down the aisle or layed out more in a more swept fashion – less spread out like a picnic blanket…

Yay, reminds me of my aunty’s wedding in the seventies. Very retro chic. Not that I would wear it personally!
