Nicole and Keith – it’s first name terms for our newly spliced lovebirds – have tied the knot this weekend. I’m sad to say that my predictions for what the bride would wear fell flat on their face as Nicole wore a floor length white gown, complete with pearl earrings and a cascading veil. Still I did get that she would wear a fitted dress rather than a big number. One point to me.
The dress was much more demure than I had anticpated but reflects the Catholic church ceremony. It’s quite ‘Pride and Predjudice’ in style with puff sleeves and flowing skirt. The cathedral length veil is very romantic. Keith looks very dapper in his black morning suit too.
Nicole carried a simple and elegant posy of white roses which Keith’s white rose buttonhole reflects. She was given away by her father, Anthony and rumours say that her children Isabella and Connor were bridesmaid and usher.
There are a few more pictures after the turn.
Nicole arrives for the star-studded ceremony along side her father, Anthony.
The three bridesmaids include Nicole’s sister Antonia, right.
The couple married at a former seminary in Manly (so named because the early settlers thought the natives looked very manly!).The reception was hosted in a huge white marquee that you can just about see in the centre of the pic.
