Last week’s dress appealed to most of you although some of you had the same concern I picked up on – would you really wear linen when you are bound to crease? I think not! The dress was pretty but not practical! However, the Joanna gown from JCrew is a very reasonable $425
On to this week’s pick. How do you feel about one shouldered dresses? This one almost has a sash like fall as it blends into the ruched bodice. I think I just about see another drop shoulder under the model’s hair too but it seems a little pointless. Anyway, you know how it goes… is it a Yay or Nay and why? I’ll reveal the designer next week.
[It's Yay or Nay across the Shiny blogs today, so don't forget to vote at Trashionista, Catwalk Queen, The Bag Lady and Shoewawa too!]

I *hate* one shoulder everything. I call it the caveman style. So naturally, a caveman wedding dress will get a big nay.
However, I do like the dress otherwise, and in theory an alteration could get rid of the strap.
I lurve this dress. It’s dresses like these that make me pine for my big day!
I love the bodice and the flowiness of the dress. it’s gorgey
Stunning. Great for curvy girls, very va va voom.
Yay – its just simple and flows well, with the added visual detail of the single strap.
Almost a “yay”, but not quite.
It would be far nicer if they did away with the strap.
I’m not keen on the one shoulder look at all.
I LOVE the gathers on the bodice. The one shoulder / drop strap I could do without, but I still love the structure of it, so a big yay!
