It will no doubt come as no surprise to you that I like chocolate nearly as much as cake and sparkly things. So when I spotted the Thornton’s Chocoholics Weekend I just knew it would make a great hen night. Starting on a Friday night, you taste existing and soon-to-be launched chocolate ranges within a chocolate seminar. On Saturday the master chocolatier (now there’s a job) shows you how to make your own chocs. During the afternoon a few secrets are revealed in the choccy workshop, followed by dinner and hot – wait for it – chocolate.
On Sunday, you have croissants (incidentally, chocolate) before you leave with your handmade creations. It’s pricey at £169 but I’ll bet that it smells and tastes divine. There are only two dates left for this year and you can find more details out on their site.
