Wedding spending - how much do different styles of weddings cost?
It probably helps when planning what sort of wedding you would like to have to know what sort of wedding you can afford to have. I found this 'wedding cake' at Consumer Reports.org which breaks down the costs of four different types of weddings based on US sourses. Prices don't include wedding rings or honeymoons.
Key: Pink = quickie Las Vegas wedding - Guests 1 = $200
Green = Destination wedding to Hawaii - Guests 30-40 = $12,000
Blue = The average weddings - Guests 175 = $22,000
Yellow = Big, fancy summer wedding in New York - Guests 200 = $153,000 (ouch!)
