Yay or Nay Wednesday

Yay_nay_split_frontLast week’s Yay or Nay was a bit of a wash out with all those pesky techie problems. You can still vote though! In fact you could probably waste all your employer’s time by going back and voting on them all. Last week’s dress was spotted via Hello magazine though the designer was unlisted.

So, this week I’ve got a gown that I’m sure is going to cause a bit of controversy. It’s a fairly simple shape without any adornment except for the big square jewelled clasp that ties the split fronted style together. Is it a Yay or Nay for you and why?

  • Yay!! Personally, I like it a lot. It’s a high fashion type gown. I would have worn something like that to my own wedding if I had a big fancy wedding in a modern setting.

  • nay, too pointy.

Yay. It’s unusual (which draws me to it) but I can’t say it looks very comfortable.

Yay, for a more formal or evening wedding, in a modern setting – maybe an art museum – and if you’re shaped like a model.

  • Nay. Far too stiff looking.

  • Yay for me

  • Yay! I think it is gorgeous and classy, and it elongates the figure nicely. I don’t think you need to be shaped like a model to wear it, you just need to be under a D-cup. 🙂

    Love it!

  • Yay. I might change that square for a vintage brooch of some sort, but I love the sculpted top.

  • Yay. The lines are all so clean and crisp looking, it looks really elegant. I’d be a bit scared to sit down in it though…

YAY! I love the modernism. I draw dresses I would like to make (I never get around to it) and I drew something like this once! It’s great!
