Flowers – who has what?

Pink_bouquetFlowers are one of the best ways to carry through a colour scheme after the bridesmaids’ and page boys’ outfits. But who carrys what and how many buttonholes should you order?

The first bouquet to pick is the brides. This will set the colour, tone and style for all the other flowers. Adult bridesmaids will carry smaller versions of bride’s bouquet and one of them will also be responsible for holding yours during the ceremony. Younger bridesmaids and flowergirls carry small posies or flowerpetal baskets.

As for buttonholes, the grooms should be a little larger than the rest and will probably contain the most dominant flower from your bouquet. The best man, ushers and bride and groom’s father should all have a smaller buttonhole. You may like to offer the bride and groom’s mothers a corsage, similar in style.
