Table Themes – Ideas for Names

Table_namesGone are the days when tables were imaginatively named one, two, three… No, personalising them to something near and dear to you or something that represents you both as a couple is the way to go and adds that extra touch to a unique day. I’m sure you are all more than capable of coming up with something but here are a few of my ideas to get you started. If you had named tables at your wedding or plan to, leave a comment letting me know what they are and help inspire some of our brides to be…

Consider where you went on holiday recently. If it’s Italy, choose some of the city names – Rome, Florence, Naples, Pisa and so on.

Met at a poety reading? Name your tables after famous poets – Keats, Tennyson, Barrett Browning, Larkin…

Are one or both of you sporty types? How about tennis, polo, football, rugby, karate…

Flower fanciers? Creat individual tables with lily, rose, gardenia, gerbera…

Planning a sparkly reception? Think about gemstones – diamond, ruby, pearl…

Maybe you could incorporate the essence of your vows into the table settings – choose love, loyalty, honesty, romance…

Another great reason for choosing names over numbers is stopping any competitiveness over being sat at table one and insult at being at table 10.
