Just how awesome is this cake? It is made entirely from Krispy Kremes and is certainly a great alternative for those of you who don’t want or like cake (do these people really exist?) Not to mention that it apparently cost under $100 and took the creator just thirty minutes to put together. The bride responsible says it the donuts are all powdered to give the white effect whilst the inner portions are glazed rings and chocolate, the latter pilfered from the groom’s cake.
I think this would be super easy for anyone to assemble. Get a glass tiered cake stand either from kitchenware store or Ikea, keep the donuts towered by using kitchen skewers and add on sugarcraft or silk flowers to decorate. [Via Miss Zoot]

I think the donut wedding cake is a great idea. It is unique. It also offers a variety. With todays lifestyles so nontraditional why not have a nontraditional cake.
