One Bride’s Courage

KyleI don’t usually write up sad stories on Bridalwave but Kyle Paxman’s story shows such courage that it is impossible not to mention her. One of the worst things that can happen to a bride right before the wedding is finding out that her fiancee is cheating on her. And that is what happened to Kyle, 29, of Vermont when a stranger (the other woman’s partner) walked into her office with evidence of the betrayal six weeks before the wedding.

Instead of losing the plot as many women understandably would, Kyle turned the sad story into an event that has benefitted other women. Instead of losing all the money paid out for the now cancelled wedding, Kyle turned the reception into a charity gala and invited 125 women for the four-course meal and cocktails whom she hoped would donate to her two chosen charities Vermont Children’s Aid Society and CARE USA, an international organisation that empowers women and fights poverty.

So not only did Kyle benefit many other women but she doesn’t have to spend her life with a cheating loser. I hope you have a wonderful life!
