Mini moons – a small break or weekend away in the middle of all the wedding planning – are definitely on the upturn amongst stressed out couples. But if you fancy a foody getaway with a bit of romance, Normandy’s 18th century Le Manoir de L’Aufragere, could just be on the menu.

The three night break starts on a Thursday evening with dinner. The next day sees a visit to the local market for scallops and oysters which you’ll prepare and cook under the guidance of your hosts, cordon blue chef Nicky Dussartre and husband Regis, for lunch, followed by an afternoon ‘delice du chocolat’ masterclass. On Saturday, there’s a champagne breakfast with free time to explore the countryside before a five course dinner.
