Well, there goes my social life… Wedding TV launched today on Sky Digital in the UK, meaning that no matter what time you switch on the box, there’ll be something wedding-related to watch. From Weird Weddings to bridal fashion shows, this is a TV station aimed totally at brides to be. What could be better (or worse, as the case may be) – other than Bridalwave, of course?
You’ll find more information at the Wedding TV website. Meanwhile, if you need me, you’ll find me in front of the TV…
The Knot wedding shop sale | Emergency kits for the bride | Liz Hurley’s Hen Night

Hi there,
I know this is somewhat unrelated to Sky, but my name
is Kerry and I wanted to let you and your
readers know that Ross-Simons.com, an internet jewelry
retailer headquartered in Rhode Island in the US, is holding a
contest for couples about to get married. The grand
prize is a $10,000 jewelry shopping spree on
Ross-Simons.com. Contestants are asked to make
creative home videos about their proposal. They can be
funny, insightful, serious, awkward or poignant. The
only real requirement is that they be entertaining.
The promotion is tied into a campaign involving home
videos of proposals gone horribly awry, so perspective
contestants are encouraged to have fun with the
premise.
More details, contestant videos as well as rules and
regulations can be found at:
http://www.proposalgonewrong.com.
Our original proposal gone wrong video pieces can be
seen on YouTube as well. Here is one rather
uncomfortable example:

I hope you’re well and thanks for checking this out!
