With our wedding now just over three months away (eek! How did that happen?) the issue of when to send out our invitations has raised its head. The traditional timescale for this is to send them six weeks before the wedding, but, having heard numerous stories of people who’d sent out invitations and then spent weeks chasing people up, we think we’d rather do things earlier and hopefully get some idea of who’ll actually be there in time to plan out the seating arrangements etc!
We’ll probably send ours out some time in January (assuming we can actually agree on the guest list and choose our stationery, that is!). When are you sending yours? Early or late?
