Cheap vs Chic – faux fur shrugs

By admin on January 17th, 2007 1 comment

Those of us getting married during the winter months (or just, like me, getting married in Scotland, where it’s pretty much all-winter, all the time), often need something to keep us warm during chilly ceremonies and outside photos ops. Faux fur shrugs make a great choice: not only are they lovely and snuggly, they’re also glamorous enough to not spoil the look of your carefully chosen gown. The shrug on the left is by Cornelia James and costs £65, while the one on the right is by good old Next, and is just £22.99.

I love faux fur, and have already earmarked a cape for my winter wonderland wedding, that has yet to be booked……

Anyway, Its lovely, and tres chic, and lets the wedding party strip off when you reach the roasting reception, rather than long sleeved dresses you will sweat in.

I intend on having my ceremony by an open fire at a local farmhouse restaurant with beautiful grounds. so strapless gown, but fur shrug for the outside parts!
