Get the Look – pink (again!)

For some brides, the traditional white and ivory just doesn’t cut it. They want a look that’s ultra-feminine and pretty, and if that’s the look you’re after, well, pink seems the obvious choice! While pink can be a more flattering colour for some complexions than stark, unforgiving white, it doesn’t come without it’s drawbacks. The last thing you want is to look like a giant, overgrown Barbie doll on your wedding day, so a very pale pink is probably a better idea than a bubblegum or fuchsia pink. To avoid making the colour overwhelming, but still stay with that "feminine" look, I’ve picked out this pretty, short pink gown by Lyn Ashworth. These bow-front sandals pick up the bow detail of the dress, and are $206 at Anne Klein, while a simple diamante hair clip is the only accessory you’ll need to look pretty in pink without doing a Barbara Cartland. This one is £8 from Accessorize.
