Does the name Borgias make you think Lucretia? Well, you got it in one because this castle was once the property of the Borgias family. Thankfully they’re long gone and the castle, situated on the borders of Tuscany and Umbria, can now be hired for weddings. It isn’t cheap (but when it comes to weddings, what is?) with a starter package coming in at Euro 11,750 for a symbolic ceremony, reception for 30 guests, flowers and accomodation for some of your party. It’s on my fantasy ‘must do’ list.
