Stewart Parvin retro dress

By admin on January 30th, 2007 1 comment

If you’re looking for a gown with both ’50s styling and modern twists, this Stewart Parvin dress may be the one for you. The broad boatneck and slim fitting sleeves are reminiscent of neatly tailored suits and jackets of the era, while the ribbon bow is a nod to today’s popular sashes.

All in all the gown is quite plain, but it’s a rich cream and that saves it from being dull. Add in chandelier earrings, a sweeping up-do or even a neat alice band tiara to loose hair and you’ve got a great look.
