Yay or Nay Wednesday

By admin on January 31st, 2007 9 comments

Last week I asked you about a very simple white dress with a flash of pink at the waist and you gave it a unanimous yay! Sometimes the best gowns really are the ones that don’t try hard. You can get style ‘AC4’ at Art Couture Bridal.

I wonder if this week’s frock will tempt you as well? Funnily enough, I already have some ideas of what you might say. There’s no denying it’s an unusually bold dress with the red rose print on a pink background. I imagine it is for the bride who is utterly sick to death of seeing white gowns and is determined to make a statement, but what do you think? Yay or Nay?

Call me traditional but… nice duvet cover?

  • The duvet cover comment hits it. I might have been convinced with a smaller flower and as slightly less intense hot pink.

Surely this dress must be a joke… Nay! (Though maybe a miniature of the print on a silk babydoll for some appropriate Valentine’s lingerie?)

  • My Barbie rejected this on the grounds of taste.

  • Nay! To be fair, the colours on my monitor are a bit screwed up at the moment, but this is just WAY too bright!

I quite like this – but maybe for a Bridesmaid, not a Bride?

I’ve never seen anything quite so disgusting in all my life. That’s a nay, by the way!

Definately a yay for this dress. It is asolutely gorgeous, mind you I could see it as a grad/prom dress more than a wedding dress.

Nay, although cropped to kneelength and without the pink overlay (or with a softer pink) it would be an adorable summer dress. I’d wear it!
