Best1We love a scary frock nearly as much as a gorgeous dress and as part of our first birthday celebrations, instead of our daily frock, I’ve picked out the best and worst bridalwear as featured on Bridalwave throughout the last year.

Kicking off the week, we’ve got that lace dress from Monique Lhullier that has had many a bride drooling and spawned plenty of similar styles. If you’re looking for a lace dress, this one really is perfection and without a hint of a doily in sight. The deep rose pink sash and jewelled clasp is a perfect addition and it’d look great at any wedding.

Worst1How to choose? We’ve had some truly horrid dresses on Frock Horror over the past year and there’s still plenty more to come!

But we can only pick out five, so here’s the first installment. Frock Horror 43 is an explosion of all things ‘princess’ and I imagine could only have been sold circa the 1980s when those kind of sleeves, dramatic necklines and over abundance of tulle were in fashion.
