GTL – Drama Queen

Many may baulk at the idea of being the centre of attention, but let’s face it, ogling the bride’s choice of attire is what every guest will be doing. So, if you’re not the shy, retiring type, the thing to do is go for drama, drama, drama. Start with a gown by a  designer known for making a statement – yes, Ian Stuart. This taffeta and tulle ‘Curacao’ gown certainly won’t be forgotten. The bodice is trimmed with metallic lace, sequins and crystal, whilst the bias cut skirt has handmade flowers bordering an antique lace underskirt. Don’t stop with the dress though!

Wear a net and triple rose hat for added statement from Sophie Iliffe, add a pearl and diamante scroll necklace that is just that little bit different, £320 at Yarwood-White before pairing with strappy high heeled silk satin sandals, ‘Carla’ £125 by Gabrielle and Lucido.
