Mori Lee chiffon draped dress

By admin on February 6th, 2007 3 comments

If you gave this dress any other colour – buttercup yellow, deep navy, even jet black – I could quite easily see it as a red carpet gown. There’s something about the slightly sweetheart strapless neckline and side draped embroidered bodice that translates very well to every big occasion. I’m really glad this dress didn’t peter out into a plain back. The corset lacing gives it a bit of extra oomph as it falls into a sweeping train. Style ‘2883’ is available in white or pearl from the destination/voyage section at Mori Lee

Lovely dress not sure about the model though – she looks drunk! Note the typo on the website description “asymmetrically raped bodice” ?????

  • I know – isn’t it awful! I don’t fancy a ‘raped bodice’ myself!

I think the back is a good idea carried off badly. The way they’ve ruched the fabric at the base of the corset lacing gives the model a fat arse. Not something I’d want my guests staring at for the duration of the ceremony…
