Mori Lee chiffon draped dress

If you gave this dress any other colour – buttercup yellow, deep navy, even jet black – I could quite easily see it as a red carpet gown. There’s something about the slightly sweetheart strapless neckline and side draped embroidered bodice that translates very well to every big occasion. I’m really glad this dress didn’t peter out into a plain back. The corset lacing gives it a bit of extra oomph as it falls into a sweeping train. I think the back is a good idea carried off badly. The way they’ve ruched the fabric at the base of the corset lacing gives the model a fat arse. Not something I’d want my guests staring at for the duration of the ceremony…
