Mmmm! They look yummy, don’t they? Whatever you do, though, don’t try and eat them: these aren’t wedding cakes – in fact, they’re not even cakes. They’re Eat Me Not’s unusual wedding favours, and as the name suggests, although they look like gorgeous cream cakes, they’re not designed to be eaten.
These are actually hand-made, fabric "faux cakes" which come with a satin ribbon and a little sewing kit inside. The idea is that you give them to your guests as favours, and they can then hang them on their Christmas tree each year as a reminder of the day. Well, it’s a mot more memorable than sugared almonds, isn’t it? The favours cost £2. each and you’ll find them at the Eat Me Not website.
