It’s hard to believe that this gorgeous, sparkle-skirted wedding gown dates back to the 1940s, but it does. It’s from Posh Girl Vintage, the online store which specialises in finding fabulous vintage pieces, including a selection of wedding gowns to take your breath away.
The amazing thing about the dresses at this site is that, unlike some vintage bridal stores, you’ll find very little in the way of frock horrors here. Most of the dresses still look as good now as they did when they were made – and the classic shapes and beautiful fabrics haven’t dated much at all. Check out this fabulous 1950s dress for instance – if it wasn’t already sold it would have been in my shopping basket in the blink of an eye.
