We told you about Disney’s line of wedding dresses seemingly aeons ago but now we can reveal the dresses based on the fairytale heroines. Couture bridalwear designer Kirstie Kelly created the Disney wedding collection that draws on inspiration from the fairytales rather than creating exact replicas with prices ranging from US$1,100 to $3,500. Bridesmaids will be catered for with a ‘Maidens’ line and an accessories collection is also set to be launched.

This design is from the ‘Jasmine’ of Aladdin range. Click over to see more designs.

“Every look takes its inspiration from the silhouette, palette and icons of each Disney Princess story and interprets the spirit of each young woman,” said Kelly. “Each of them has a unique, charming and very individual style that many brides can identify with, and now truly emulate, on their wedding day.”

Each fairytale has a number of dresses in the range and can be viewed at Disney Bridal. You’ll find the collection in bridal boutiques throughout North America, Japan and Europe beginning in June.

The Bridalwave verdict? I really appreciate that Disney didn’t froth up these gowns and instead gave Kelly the opportunity to produce some really great, timeless and wearable wedding dresses at prices that won’t blow the budget.
