Disposable wedding gown from Tuija Jarvenpaa

disposable.JPGI know many brides are perturbed with the idea of spending more than they’ve ever spent on a garment before only for it to be worn once on one single day. Finnish designer Tuija Jarvenpaa is certainly questioning the idea and has created a disposable wedding gown. Probably not what many of you are looking for either but it’s an interesting idea never the less!

The gowns are constructed of paper, can be printed or have ornamental cut-ins for detail and at the end of the day, they can be recycled, a sentiment our ethical consumerism blog Hippyshopper would no doubt champion.
