I know it seems like brides are drowning in oceans of silk dupion, tafffeta and chiffon but bridalwear manufacturers use these fabrics because they work.
I think we can all see why. It’s purely the preserve of line dancers, casual wear for the masses and cowboys. Not brides.
Unless of course you are a casual, line dancing bride who rides broncos in her spare time. In which case, you sound like a fun kind of person.

Ok, I agree, this dress doesn’t have much going for it, but don’t write off denim as a complete disaster. I saw a marvellous white denim dress from http://www.lindagorringecouture.com.au called ‘Belinda’. I personally think it was done very tastefully with a very trendy style. For the woman who wouldn’t mind riding in a motorcycle ;P
