Max Mara to make wedding gowns

By admin on April 19th, 2007 1 comment

maxmarabridal.jpg Good news for lovers of Italian fashion (and really, who doesn’t love Italian fashion, at least a little bit?) – fashion house Max Mara have just announced that they’re to branch into the bridal wear market, with a collection of twenty to thirty different gowns in white, ivory and pink. The move is apparently in response to demand from customers, and will include dresses with empire waists, halter necks and straight sheaths (not all at the same time though, obviously) in chiffon, taffeta and duchesse satin, plus accessories and shoes.

Best of all, the new line sounds pretty affordable too, with prices from 600 – 1500 euros. Look for the first pictures of the gowns later this month.
