Eco brides are snapping up Oxfam new wedding dresses at a rate of knots it seems. So much so, that one of the shops situated in Eastbourne, East Sussex now has a month long waiting list to view the cut price dresses. However, they are now facing a shortage of wedding dresses.
“It’s great that so many brides are coming to Oxfam for their dresses, but we are desperate for donations to meet this growing demand,” Barbara Warmsley, the charity’s bridal co-ordiantor told the BBC. “If a donated dress sells for £250, this can provide 100 people with clean water, build two toilets, train one midwife and feed a family for a month.”
If you want to donate your dress, get in touch with Oxfam! [via BBC]
