The Knot may have predicted orange would be the top colour for 2007 weddings but the new issue of Martha Stewart Weddings says it’s all about pretty pastel palettes.

Sophisticated cakes in sweet pastel shades and confectionary are tipped to be hot, along with colour matched bridesmaid dresses. Marigold yellow is also predicted to be a great colour for everything from your flowers to the flowergirls dress.
