Yay or Nay Wednesday

By admin on April 4th, 2007 7 comments

I can’t help but wonder if the Disney wedding dresses soon to be launched will look a little like this one. It has all those fairy tale qualities with a satin and tulle ballgown, delicate cap sleeves, embroidered lace and sequins. The fact that the model could pass for Katie Holmes is totally irrelevant but isn’t she a good likeness? Anyway, back to the dress, yay or nay for you and why?

Last week the vote was split down the middle on the floaty ’40s style dress but Fi gets virtual points for spotting it was an Amanda Wakely gown. Find it here.

Nay nay and nay again! She looks like she shuold be on top of a wedding cake or even a christmas tree! This is a big version of a flower-girl’s dress (my 5 year old neice would love it!) and there’s just no need….

Hmm, I love the sleeves and the neckline, I was looking for a dress with these sleeves but couldn’t find them. However I have to agree with Fi, the skirt is hideous – too big, too much detail and too much like a fairytale.

  • Nay here. I 2nd Fi’s comments about looking like Christmas tree fairy – or perhaps she’s covering a giant toilet roll.

Nay Fi right any little girl would love way to young looking for grown ups

NAAY, freakily childish looking. I think its the layered skirt I really object.
On the whole I am a bit partial to princess type dresses if done nicely but this is not good.
