I find the bodice of this Romona Keveza gown really inspiring as it has taken two elements that normally wouldn’t work on the front of the gown and made them look amazing. The ruffles are the first thing that grabs your eyes but they’re neither overdone nor pathetic wisps. Instead the loosely pleated trim stands up in the heavy fabric and draws your eye to the neckline rather than bustline. The second thing that really appealed was the covered buttons that you would normally find as a fastening at the back but instead they add detail and length to the hourglass bodice. The skirt is neutral, but by no means bland, with a ruffle hem that reflects the corset detailing.
