Would you wear a wooden wedding ring?

By admin on May 18th, 2007 1 comment

4.jpgIf you’d prefer your wedding rings to be on the unique side – not to mention eco-friendly – these wooden rings by Gustav Reyes will certainly fit the bill. Most of the rings at Gustav’s online store are made from salvaged pieces of wood, meaning that your recycled wedding ring will have had a previous life as something else before it came into your possession. They may not be made of precious metals, but they can also be made to your exact specifications, out of almost any piece of timber. Prices start from around $120 for a pre-made ring, and are on request for custom designs.

  • I’d totally wear one! Actually, my husband and I may renew our vows at our 20th anniversary (in four years) and he’s outgrown the cheapie gold one I gave him a long time ago. Maybe it’s time for new?
