Flapper girl bridal – Would you dare to bare?

p1_9.png While I’m always one for vintage style, even I’m not sure whether I’d translate it to my wedding day so dramatically as this 20s style dress. This ivory overlay in the style of the classic 20s flapper girls is undoubtedly a beautiful item of clothing, but is it really bridalwear?

If you’re brave enough to step out in this gorgeous number, you can get it made-to-measure from designer Margot Arendse. I’d personally love to see someone go for it in this pretty number (of course, with a carefully chosen slip underneath!) but it’s certainly not for the faint hearted.

  • Oh my goodness, that is gorgeous! I would totally wear it in my wedding, if only my arms weren’t so flabby. Of course, since I am not getting married any time soon, I have lots of time to tone up. Not bitter.

  • I would love to be able to wear this dress it’s so pretty and very now with vintage being in vogue. Art deco is always stylish, though I would have to wear hold in pants! Not so glamorous!
