Lost in Music: The First Dance #4

So I say Van Morrison to you and what do you think? I’m guessing it’s got a lot of sha-la-la-la-ing in it and quite frankly everyone loves it. Whilst Brown Eyed Girl is a great one, (though I was always gutted I have blue eyes), it is a bit one-sided for a first dance isn’t it, what about the hubby?

I like the idea of starting your married life with the intention to always have one more ‘Moondance’ with your love. You’ll find it on Van’s 1970 album of the same name (and copious compilations), have a listen – can it get any better than a ‘fantabulous night to make romance?’ I don’t think so.

I just wanted to say that it was thanks to your suggestion of Moondance by Van Morrison that my boy and I had this as our first song instead of Are you going to be my girl by Jet! I was desperate to find an alternative to Jet and this was perfect – it made our very wet and rainy wedding truly amazing, and during this song I could only think about us! Thank you!
