Marryoke – a totally different kind of wedding video

By admin on June 8th, 2007 2 comments

Wedding videos. Even with the best will in the world, they can end up being a little bit boring to everyone except the bride and groom, can’t they? Not these ones, though. This, you see, is Marryoke – where you and your wedding party are filmed miming along to your favourite track – and it’s utterly brilliant. Some of the best examples of Marryoke can be found on the Wedding TV website, where you’ll find Sue and Paul miming to “Tragedy” (along with their whole congregation!), Debbie and Roger doing “Summer Lovin'” and Gabby and John’s wedding party looking for the way to Amarillo.

Unlike some of the “first dance” videos we’ve been seeing lately, in which the bride and groom can look a little on the awkward side, these are slick productions by company’s such as The Graham Fenton Experience and the end results are hilarious and memorable. You can see the Marryokes for yourself on Wedding TV (Sky Channel 289) at 8.30pm every night – or you could always do your own. Would you dare, though?

(Thanks, Shiny!)
