Yay or Nay Wednesday

By admin on June 20th, 2007 3 comments

There’s something rather Prom Princess about this wedding dress. It’s not overly sexy, not overly grown up and really, it’s tremendously sweet looking. The bodice and skirt both feature embroidery and the skirt is made that bit fuller with a net lining. Do you think it’s designer or high street and more importantly, do you give it a yay or nay?

Last week I asked you about a fitted dress with a gorgeous fluted tulle skirt and you all loved it, especially paired up with that vintage net hat. You agreed it was quite Liz Hurley and Sarah gets special virtual points for correctly guessing it was by Maggie Sottero – style ‘Amour Brooch.’

I think it is really pretty and perfect for a beach wedding or intimate summer do. The net overlay makes it for me, as it adds a really soft touch to the outline. Hmm, Marks and Spencers I reckon!

i think it would look better with a petticoat underneath, to give it more width, and sit more ’50s style. its a strange length, i’m not warming to it. Nay

  • I think it’s very pretty – some girls do get married still virgins, lol. I think it either needs to be a little longer, or a little shorter – it is a weird length. I love the overall design though.
