Diane Hassall’s handmade wedding shoes – the personal touch

Of all of the bits and pieces that make up your wedding day wardrobe, it’s shoes that seem to cause the most problems. Rather than building your outfit around your chosen pair of shoes, you need to try and hunt down a pair of shoes that are the right height for a dress that’s often much longer than you’d normally wear, and the right colour to compliment your chosen shade of ivory, white or whatever other colour you’ve chosen. Add to this the fact that your shoes will need to be comfortable enough to stand up in all day and dance in all night, and you have yourself a bit of a challenge.

Diane Hassall’s handmade shoe collection is designed to try and meet that challenge. Each pair of shoes is lovingly made to ensure comfort and style, with kid leather linings and leather soles, and there’s something in the collection for everyone. Just to make sure that your wedding shoes are extra special, you also get a handwritten note from Diane herself (Now that’s what I call service!) and you can even have your wedding date branded onto the soles of your shoes. The shoes shown above are called ‘Rosie O’Donnell’ (yes, just like the TV personality), but there are lots of other styles to love.
