Lela Rose has taken the unusual move to name her dresses for buildings, going in this case for ‘The Mansion’. But as for as mansions go, this one is both decadently different and magnificent. The piece de resistence is clearly the rounded halter neck with its panel strewn with beads of all shapes and colours. The ribbed bodice is slim fitting with a dropped waist and gathered skirt with chapel length train.
As most brides are unlikely to wear their dresses again, I’d suggest removing some of the beads after the day and having bespoke jewellery made up so you can carry a part of your day with you on other occasions.
