As this dress was the final showing at a catwalk show, I’m fairly certain it is intended to be a wedding dress (even if designers don’t seem to be bother with the wedding dress much these days). You’ve got to give Christian Lacroix kudos though (despite the unflattering design – the gold band really doesn’t sit well – and showgirl headdress) as he’s the only designer to have ever turned supermodel Lily Cole into a munchkin. Well done that man!
