We all know metallics are one of the big trends this year but would you pay attention to fashion during your wedding? This dress appears to be a two tone gown with a creamy gold top half with a draped collar and ruched bodice, whilst the skirt appears to be a paler silver (it could be an effect of the light). The jewelled brooch is a beautiful touch and one we’ve seen plenty of recently. Do you like the metallic effect and does it work well in bridalwear? Yay or nay and why please!

Last week’s dress was printed with photographs around the hem but did you like it? It was an interesting concept agreed our voters but there was something too harsh and haphazard about it, so nay. You can find the dress at Sarah Treble.

    Beware the Bacofoil Ballgown…. Nay.

  • Natalie

Nay from me. Brides, not the dress, should shine on their wedding day.

Yay, I quite like it. It’s hard to say exactly without seeing it in real life, but I’ve seen other shiny gowns around and with the right complexion and work very nicely.

    Bacofoil Ballgown.. perfect description!
Definite nay. I had so much trouble finding satin that didn’t shine too much for my dress.. there’s no way I’d wear anything like that!
