I like the lace used in this strapless dress. Where some all over lace gowns can look a little chintzy, this alencon lace has a raised design that looks quite unusual. It also has plenty of beading for added interest with a chapel length train. You could make it very contemporary by having a single exotic bloom instead of a bouquet (preferably one that doesn’t look as dead as in this picture) or do the romantic look with a mantilla style veil.
