You say Paris these days and you might just first think of the jailbird Hilton. Thankfully this Augusta Jones ‘Paris’ dress should realign your thoughts back to the romantic city. There’s an early twentieth century look to the top half with lacy fringed cap sleeves and an embroidered bodice with dropped waist, something we’re seeing more of in recent collections. The skirt has a pleasant lace fluted hem with chapel train whislt the low back flashes a hint of skin.

    Hi Ladies,
What sort of lingerie would you wear with this dress? The back and neckline of this dress is similar to mine – but I’m not sure what to wear under it. (I have wider shoulder straps, so it doesn’t have to be strapless.) The shop that is making my dress say that they can sew cups into my dress so that I don’t have to wear a bra, but I’m not sure. I think I want to be wearing something special underneath. Help!

  • Hi Alex,
Have you had a look in our lingerie section for some tips? I’ll make sure I do a piece specifically on lingerie for backless dresses asap.
