After a £4 million refurbishment, Bournemouth’s magnificent Opera House has been granted a wedding licence and opened its doors to couples who want to take centre stage on their day. The Victorian theatre with cathedral high ceiling has several bars for hire alongside the main auditorium and gallery, ensuring you’ll have plenty of room for a full cast.

“The Opera House really is the perfect venue for a wedding and we are thrilled that we have been granted with a civil wedding license,” says The Opera House group entertainments manager, Ester Gill. “The Opera House is a unique wedding venue and offers the ‘wow’ factor, which is important on a wedding day. The Opera House combines a fantastic back-drop, space to hold a wedding breakfast and a stage with outstanding sound and lighting to make the most of the evening’s entertainment and the whole day a success!”
