We’ve mentioned a few TV brides in our Iconic Brides section and as there are so many, they really deserve a category all of their own. First up, in this new series of Brides on Film, is a dress from one of the favourite series in television history. Known for it’s fashion – both iconic and off the wall – it’s no surprise that the weddings were just as stylish. Kristin Davis as Charlotte York may have worn a fantastic frock to her first wedding to Dr McDougal, but it’s her second wedding to loveable Harry Goldenblatt that makes it my favourite.

The Badgley Mischka design is a demure cap sleeved style with a horizontal ribbon hem and chapel length train. Teamed with an elbow length veil that sits on the crown, this is the perfect look for Charlotte.

Do you have a favourite wedding dress from film or TV? Let us know in the comments and if we can track it down, it’ll go on the list!

I LOVE the wedding dresses that are worn by Julia Roberts in Runaway Bride. Not the first few, just the last 2. The bell-skirt one in the supposed wedding to Gere, then the one w/the long train one in the actual wedding to Gere.

I love the wedding dress from Princess Diaries 2: the Royal Engagement. I am looking for it for my own wedding but am having trouble finding it.

I love the wedding dress from Charlotte when she got married to Harry in Sex in the city. That’s my dream dress. Nice, simple and classy.

Absolutely the wedding dress Lauren Graham aka Lorelay Gilmore was supposed to wear on her wedding to Luke.
Unfortunately there never was a wedding but this dress always was on my mind as one of the most beautiful dresses in TV history.
