The Yang-Burke wedding only aired in the UK last week and whilst the nuptials may have not exactly been smooth, or for that matter, even gone ahead with, at least Cristina Yang looked fabulous in her US$6,600 Amsale dress. The dress is an interesting choice. She wouldn’t suit a puffy frock along the lines of those she was shown trying on (see pic after the cut), nor would she suit something romantic or whimsical. Instead, the no-nonsense surgeon got a glamorous mermaid style dress that fit like a glove.

As for her bridesmaids, characters Izzie, Callie and Meredith all wore chocolate coloured floor length gowns with different necklines to suit their figures.

Everyone has one of those moments where they try on a gown wholly inappropriate and make their friends laugh. Here’s Cristina Yang’s on-screen moment of hell.
