Blair Castle opens their State Dining Room as a wedding venue

By admin on November 21st, 2007 1 comment

Scotland’s Blair Castle in Highland Perthshire has opened its State Dining Room as a private wedding venue with room for parties of 16 to 50 dining guests. Smaller weddings can also book the Library but if you have a larger guestlist, don’t forget to take a look at the Victorian Ballroom or Banvie Hall. Catering can be arranged with anything from drinks receptions with canapes to full six course meals with champagne, wine and liqueurs.

If you’re looking for grandeur and history from your venue then Blair Castle has it in spades. The castle is the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl, with roots from the 13th century and is set amidst the 145,000 acres of stunning Scottish countryside, with traditional heather and glens, and is one of the most northerly grand houses. Visit them online at Blair Castle Weddings or call +44 (0) 1796 481 207 for more details.
