Spring 2008 is shaping up to be a great year for bridalwear and we’re taking a look at the hot new trends to look out for. Colour is making an impact this year with a number of designers shifting out of their comfort zones to offer vibrant shades with stylish designs.

Vera Wang showed off a gorgeous purple mermaid gown with a bow front and corset laced back. Meanwhile retro stars Candy Anthony went for a bright red cocktail dress with a full skirt and corsage neckline. (More dresses after the cut).

David Fielden went for print and colour with this blueish-grey strapless bodice and full, floor-length skirt. Colour doesn’t have to mean bright and bold as Romona Keveza shows with this subtle blue draped gown.
