Sadly, this was one Holywood marriage that was doomed not to last, but the snowy setting of Kate Hudson’s winter wedding to Chris Robinson, plus the dramatic Vera Wang gown worn by the bride make Kate an iconic bride all the same. The wedding took place on New Year’s Eve, 2000, at Old Snowmass, Colorado, in a private ranch owned by Goldie Hawn (the bride’s mother) and Kurt Russell. The white theme included white candles and flowers and the couple were married under a white tent. They picked a good night to celebrate too: they and their 70 guests partied the night away after the ceremony at the the Elk Mountain Lodge, celebrating New Year as well as the wedding.
