I'm struggling to believe this is real, but apparently it is - the Poseidon Undersea Resort
will open to "a select group of the world's adventure travelers and undersea enthusiasts" in 2009. Presumably if they make it through unscathed, it will then open to the public.
The resort - situated 40 feet underwater in a 5,000 acre Fijian lagoon - will have an undersea chapel offering "an enchanting environment made all the more interesting with its ever-changing backdrop: a transparent wall overlooking a coral garden."
And if for some reason you don't fancy Fiji, not to worry, the Fijian resort is the first of a proposed chain!
